As stated previously, there are thousands of very well qualified people looking for jobs. Many have been unemployed for months or even years and some just a few weeks. While all these candidates are great for the employers, it makes it harder for those searching for a job to stand out among all the other resumes. Now you have your resume ready, now what? Now that you are unemployed, you will need to decide if the career path you were on is where you would like to continue. Did you have job satisfaction? Would you like to try something new? These are choices that must be made early on in your search. Once you explore and decide what career path you want to choose, think about the companies you would like to work with.

They want to pick and choose the information they want, and toss everything else.

As a peace corps volunteer, you will make a difference in the lives of people in need. Think about the type of program that you are interested in studying. Whether you are looking for a structured or flexible curriculum, a practical or theoretical emphasis on study, or how much of an emphasis you would like based on research can help you to narrow down your choices.

I asked him if he was going to be well enough to go. He said he was going and that he felt better. His dad took him to the career center to meet the bus. We were not to go just two teachers and six students.
